liberated and safer Iraq. Assuring security in Iraq is a major concern and numerous insurgencies must be controlled. Iraq must also build a successful democratic government to run the country without U.S. occupation. Furthermore, the Iraqi's economy is suffering due to the war and must be rebuilt possibly with some of the resources coming from oil revenue. The cost of rebuilding Iraq will be enormous and will reach record highs.
