             Why are we so interested in other peoples' love lives? It is obvious that humans are social creatures. From the beginning of history we have looked upon our peers and older generations to guide us throughout the difficult times. The thought that people dating on television is entertainment makes most people laugh. But in some Rodney Dangerfield like way the comedy works. As long as these networks are getting the results that they do, there will be new dating shows all hipper and more risky than the next.
             One of the new shows that have come out called Dismissed on MTV is the epitome of a dating show. Either two girls date one guy, or two guys date one girl. First the three will meet at some random spot to introduce one to another. This is followed by some trash talking between the two girls or guys, who are trying to win. Each person gets to take the girl or guy out on there own special little date for some intimate time together. The twist is that the date occurs with all three present the entire night.
