             All investigations, which are carried out by the Ombudsman, are carried out independently. He has extensive powers in law, and can demand any
             Information or file from a body that is being complained or investigated. It is sometimes the lack of information that prevents investigations from reaching closure, before he becomes involved, but because he has have power to access files that the general public cannot, it can aid greatly in clearing up any ambiguity that may surround complaints and investigations which will greatly benefit the person or parties who lodged the complaint.
