TITLE: Some Enchanted Evening, episode: 7601
This episode of the Simpsons has two stories going at the same time and they both meet up at the end. The plot of the story is the fact of how much Homer mistreats Marge and how he treats her more like a pet. Marge gets really depressed over this. Homer then realises how poorly he has been treating Marge so he decides to treat her to gifts and go out on a romantic night. [Sub-plot] While they are out they hired a baby sitter, Ms Varks. Ms Varks is actually a babysitter bandit. At the end Bart, Lisa and Maggie catch the criminal and tie her up while they go to a public phone to call crime stoppers, meanwhile Homer comes home and sees the babysitter tied up, oblivious as to who she is he lets her go and pays her triple as to the way the kids treated her, and then "The Babysitter Bandit" escapes.
There were really only a few characters in this episode of the Simpsons, this consisted of, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, Marge, Homer, Dr Monroe, Homers workmates and the evil babysitter bandit, Ms Varks.
There were two main morals that were revealed during this episode. The morals that Homer has now learnt are, "Never mistreat your wife, as she's a wife not a slave" and the other one being "Never trust a stranger". These morals could also be classed as themes as the producers of the Simpsons could be trying to teach anyone who watches the Simpsons these important morals that relates to today's society.
During this episode there was only one advertisement that related to now this was the fact that on our TV we have the "1800-crimestoppers advertisement" and on the Simpsons they had the same thing but called "1800-squeal".
Throughout the episode Homer has evolved into a more capable, loving and caring adult who now knows how to treat his wife properly. Homer has also learned not to trust strangers as the
