no told Sammy that he would talk to Mr. Zuvito, a local frail old man who had mob connections and everything would be resolved. A few days later the men came back to the factory with many apologies in regards to the threat. The apologies were directed to the Gravano family and Mr. Zuvito. Sammy soon realized the power and respect a connected man receives.
             Sammy became a big troublemaker while growing up, joining a street gang and committing minuscule crimes all the time was what he enjoyed. He was kicked out of school just before his 16th birthday and committed all his attention to the Rampers Gang. After being running the streets for a few more years Sammy was drafted into the Army. Quickly being sent to North Carolina for Basic Training didn't bother Sammy because he knew he was only becoming stronger and tougher. Soon after two years had passed Gravano was released on an Honorable Discharge and moved back to Bensonhurst.
             The Bull came back to Bensonhurst and bought an apartment, rejoined his street gang and continued to commit the crimes he had been doing before he was drafted. Stealing cars, robbing stores was all part of Sammy's intentions of becoming well known to the local mobs and rich. At the age of 23, Gravano was ready to graduate from the Rampers and move onto the next phase of his criminal career. He realized that to be successful in his next step he needed to be connected to the right people. In 1968 the door opened for Gravano to move into organized crime. Tommy Spero, a fellow Ramper made mention to Sammy that his Uncle had heard of his reputation and was anxious to meet him.
