Think of an example where language had shaped the world.

             People seek words and phrases that convey their ideas, to have an impact or to alter in some way the listener's minds or even the trend the world is taking. However, I feel that once the words are free from being restricted in one's mind and are expressed, they are never able to so vividly express the exact thought that was delicately and complexly interwoven in the mind; we think more than we are able to speak it. Thus, I think that we are not totally capable of having exactly our intended impact on people, including the understanding of all the various emotions and considering the different perceptions. Therefore, one solid example that I can think of, where words have shaped our world and influenced people profoundly in the last 50 years, is the language of the computer. This has accurately and visibly affected and fashioned the world we live in right now. Thousands of programmers have written innumerable software for the computer systems that now support our world.
             It may seem strange to propose such mechanical and technological category of language, as having power over shaping the world. Usually you might assume that famous literature or historically notable lines by important people from the past would have this position. However, computer language is also very unique and imaginative. For example, it has allowed people to travel to the moon and observe the earth from outer space, it has given security services the advantage in listening into private phone calls regardless of the act being right or wrong, and it has opened the inter-net world to everyone for use. Writing a program is advanced as in discovering an invention, and creative as in writing a novel for all people to read. Programmers have power in the recent world where more and more people are dependent on technology and computers, and are dwelling in such a futuristic society that the importance of this type of language cannot be ignored. ...
