Romeo and Juliet

e a mutiny among my guests? You will set a cock-a-hoop, you'll be the man?"
Tybalt says that he will endure him "but this intrusion shall, now seeming sweet, convert to bitterest gall."
This endurance from Tybalt may lead to the death of Mercutio and the death of Tybalt.
Romeo goes over and starts to talk to Juliet who is looking to see if she likes Paris. Before the dance Lady Capulet has informed Juliet that Paris wants to marry her and she says she will look to see if she likes him. Romeo approaches Juliet and touches her hand and he speaks to her for the first time. Romeo takes Juliet's hand and offers to kiss it; she is slightly reluctant, suggesting that shaking hands would be a more appropriate greeting. When they start talking they talk in a shakespearean sonnet and also in religious terminology. Romeo and Juliet use such words as "holy" "shrine", "pilgrims", "saints", "prayer" and "faith". As they talk Romeo kisses Juliet and then Juliet comments on his kiss. "You kiss by th' book."
This is important to Juliet because it is where they first meet and kiss each other. She is also meant to look for a husband in this party like Paris but instead she goes with Romeo. This also shows importance.
The nurse takes Juliet away from Romeo saying that her mother wants to speak to her and Romeo asks whom Juliet is. He finds out that she is a Capulet then he talks of fate. "O dear account, my life is my foe's debt." Benvolio gets Romeo to leave the party and as he does Juliet finds out that he is a Montague. Juliet also refers to fate as well saying, "My only love sprung from my only hate."
