It is an unbelievably
             emotional and touchy subject that needs to be addressed in a tactful and respectful manner.
             Paula Vogel believes that an adult should play the role of Li'l Bit. However, Andrew
             Kimbrough states in his critique of the play, "[The] portrayal of a large-breasted lead (who,
             judging from production stills, is always played by an attractive actress) who is herself an adult
             even though she plays a teenager, thus provides the audience a less troublesome and more
             accessible experience of her four or five sexual encounters with her uncle."(pg. 52) If performed
             on a stage, as a play, Li'l Bit would have to be played by an woman dressed as a teenager. It
             would be too uncomfortable for an audience to watch a child play the role. Having an adult play
