Good and evil do we have a choice in the matter? Some people say yes. If so, does God exist? We may never know. At some point in your life you've been face to face with good and evil. Were you aware of the situation? Did you make the right choice? Distinguishing between good and evil can often be a difficult task if not knowledgeable on the subject, but who's to say what's good or evil? Good and evil is often misinterpreted and looked at in many different prospectives. For example, an individual view may be very different from religion to religion and culture to culture. Something that is a good deed to you may be an evil act to someone on the other side of the world in a different culture. Cultural differences are widely accepted in the American culture. Understanding what good and evil is can be extremely beneficial to society.
Morals are an important part of everyday life, and can vary from culture to culture. Depending on how you were brought up in your society may influence your behavior greatly. Some people choose to do good deeds, and some choose to do the opposite, evil. Society is full of good and evil, so to our knowledge good and evil must exist. The unusual relationship between the two leads us to believe those morals that you've become accustom to play a major role in distinguishing between right and wrong. Who's to say what's right or wrong? Morals set forth at an early age by culture, geography, and most of all family, explain to us how to behave within our society. Of which you are morally responsible for your actions.
