Wolf Hunting

When it comes to wolf hunting my opinion is neutral. I'm for wolf hunting but then again I'm also against it. Who are we to say who lives or dies?
First of all I'm against wolf hunting for a few reasons. The first reason deals with the question of why kill innocent animals. I don't get what the point is in killing an animal that's doing the same thing that we try to do every day, survive. How would you like it if one day you went to the store to buy food for your kids and got shot? We also have to remember whose invading whose territory. The wolves were here way before we were so we have no right to kill them for fun.
There are also a few reasons that make me for wolf hunting. The wolves keep certain animals in check so they won't over populate. For instance the moose. If there are no wolves the moose will over populate resulting in lots of moose but not enough food for them to eat causing starvation. If there is no moose it will cause a problem for the animals that depend on them. The wolves should also be kept under control so they won't get over populated. If the wolves get over populated there will be a lot of dogs but only one bone.
I think there should just be a season dedicated to wolf hunting. If there is a season for wolf hunting then it will keep every thing in balance. Not all wolves will be harmed. There will be a certain place for wolf hunting and only a certain number of wolves could be hunted. This should keep the wolves from over populating which will keep the moose at a balance too.
To sum it all up I'm both for it and against it. If it was up to me to come up with an answer I would just grant a certain place at a certain time a certain amount of wolves could be hunted for. This way the moose, wolves, environmentalists, and hunters will be happy.
