What are morals? It seems like a stupid question but when a class full of students is asked, "What are morals?" they merely stare blankly with nothing to say. You walk down the street and see an old lady trying to cross the street. After quite a few tries' there is finally a break so she starts walking. It is amusing watching this lady try to get across. When she finally makes it to the other side a car drives by and scares her making her fall back into a puddle of water. The people beside you laugh away while one person out of probably 10 run over to help her get up and off of the road. Are our morals in society that confused?
             As the years go by the morals of society become more and more lost in controversial subjects. The arguments of adultery is ok if they cheated on you first and murder is ok in self-defense are some of the more popular undecided subjects. If you cheat or kill its wrong there is no doubt about that. Then society always raises the "but what if...." Then they ask why their children like fighting and think movies about
             killing are cool. Canada is supposed to be a nation of equality, yet there are classes of rich and poor, and people look down on you if you do not have the latest stuff. Teens are the worst for this, they are down right mean. They are more worried about making your life miserable if you do not have brand name clothes than the fact that bullying is morally wrong.
             Society can not agree on anything. Even why their children act so badly, when it is right in front of them. They ask why they're children do not know right from wrong. All kids are told these days are "this is bad except..." and "do not do this except..." They sit and watch the television seeing bloodshed and hurt. Even kids cartoons contain violence, some of the most loved kids shows are low in morale. Some good examples are power rangers and dragonball z. Parents force religion out of the sch...
