When he meets Marie by the side alley, she is also wearing black and red clothes. I believe this signifies that she will be involved in the action with Jason. Also Marie's car is red; this indicates that the car will be involved in a bit of action. This, later in the movies, turns out to be true when they get into a big car chase with the police.
