Moral Relativism--reflection

I believe that moral relativism does exist, however I do not believe that it is an issue today.
Through personal experiences, people have their own perception of what is right and what is wrong. The way we are brought up in life has a great influence on what we view as right and wrong. For example, as a child I was taught that killing is wrong, and that there is a punishment for killing. Since then, I have always believed and known that killing is wrong, and that I would suffer greatly for killing. Therefore, Aristotle's empiricism does still have usefulness. Aristotle does not deny the Sophist's belief of moral relativism. To Aristotle, it is through senses and experiences that we are able to differentiate between right and wrong. When we experience something, our senses help us to tell whether that experience was bad/wrong or good/right. If we do not trust our senses, we cannot experience, therefore we would not know if something is wrong or right.
Plato's "Ideas" are also still useful as a means for establishing moral standards. Yes, people will still have their own views or beliefs on what is right and wrong. But, when there is a standard to follow, such as laws put into place for every person in a society to follow, there would be order in that society. People are going to have to comply with the standards set before them or else they would have to suffer consequences.
In conclusion, although moral relativism does exist, it is not an issue or a problem today because people already have an understanding and respect for other peoples' and culture's beliefs. Wherever you go in the world today, every person is going to have his or her own belief of what is right and what is wrong. But, no matter how diverse our world today is, and whether people believe something is right or not, standards are going to be set so that there is no disorder.
