Something is wrong with English people. I know, I did not say anything new with that, everybody knows how Brits behave. Everyone has heard about such stereotypes as "Brits are snobs". I do not know about you, but if we played a word association test and you said me "lemon", my answer would surely be: "Brits!" I just keep wondering what makes them act like they do? Do they eat something bad, or is it in the air or something? Is it genetics?
             No. It is something more obvious than that. It's the place. I had not even thought about that until I got there. The place...
             It happened several years ago, in my grammar school years. I visited England for only a week, but still, after the fifth day, I wouldn't have felt sorry if we returned home.
             Britain is a terrible place to be in. It is cold, it is always raining, how can people bare such conditions? If I had to stay on an island like that I would probably behave like a Brit after some time spent there.
             So my explanation to the behavior of Englishmen is really simple. The weather conditions of Great Britain. This is the first and most important point. Everything can be led back to this. Just to mention one thing, the British architecture. They build so boring houses. All I saw when I walked trough a street was the same boring color, the same boring shapes, the same boring people looking out their boring windows. Everything looked boring. Why is that? Because that awful weather turns everybody off of being creative. Even if we take a look at the Cathedral of Canterbury for example, it is just grey. It would be wonderful in a clear-sky sunrise at the glittering shores of Spain or at many other places of our beautiful planet, but in England...it is just grey. Boring.
             So what happens when people always see the same boring, sad, colorless things? They become Brits.
