             It is a belief among some people that in today's sports African-Americans are well represented and even over represented. This is because of their dominance in the three big team sports of baseball, basketball, and football. There are two main reasons that blacks are over represented in these sports, and both of them are connected to money. These sports make the most money out of all the other sports that are going on today. So the coaches do not care who plays as long as the team is winning and they are getting their money. Secondly, money influences the players as well as the owners and coaches. Some researchers feel that blacks are more likely to be seduced by sports opportunities because they " perceive more barriers to achievement in other activities."
