The fresh, good, newborn day and I made our greetings as I got out of
bed and began to get ready for class. Already behind schedule by ten
minutes or so I hurried to shower, shave, and change clothes. Absent
mindedly, still in some what of a daze from the party the night before

really fast in your head, especially early in the morning, a little
hung over and not quite on top of things, they really do grow into
indistinguishable terms. Truth be told: "Read carefully. Slow down.
Take things easy. Don't make these mistakes. They will punish you in
the severest of wrath if you miss these details."
I'm not sure if it has become knowledge to you, well actually, being
of sound mind and body probably not as it did to me, but universal
quick dry cement is actually an anticoagulant, a blood thinner, it
reduces viscosity, it is something that makes blood not clot and
resultantly flow faster. So of course my nick began to bleed. In
turn, I grabbed a piece of tissue as I raced for the door applying
pressure, desperately trying not to have to enter the classroom late
with yet another war wound from the hell I call reality, demanding an
explanation from myself to my inquisitive classmates and professor.
And so there I was minutes later, sitting in my car at the
intersection of Boyd and Asp at a red light. Checking to make sure
the bleeding had stopped; I nonchalantly attempted to remove my
