Greed takes many shapes and forms and seems to be found in unlikely places. Greedy people are sometimes people you're supposed to trust and look to for answers. It is found in schools, churches, offices, and homes around the world. Taking advantage of the weak is easy because often there are no other possibilities for them. Most recently, I have noticed greed taking place upon the students at school in many different ways, which makes it ultimately unavoidable.
Books are always one of the great expenses of coming to college. This is a great disadvantage to anybody attending school for several reasons. The cost of books is far too high. This is pure greed because they're asking in most cases people with very limited budgets to dish over a nice amount of money. Taking only 4 classes a semester, the minimum for full time student, the cost of books can be anywhere from $175 - $300+ per semester. However they do supposedly buy back these books at the end of each semester. For several books I was given about one quarter of the price I paid for it a minimal amount for something less than half a year old. Other times I was told the book could not be bought back at all because a new version was ordered so you receive no money for those "old" books.

After paying seventy dollars a year to park somewhere for a couple hours a day, they still want more money if you park in some lots before four o clock in the form of tickets. Now some students have fake parking passes which in some ways makes paying seventy dollars for one feel like a slap in the face. To simply reduce the price of a pass or build a new parking lot just may be unimaginable but maybe a simple way to solve these nuisances.
As the cost of tuition increases over time why aren't more people asking where all the money goes. If tuition...
