Abortion

             The way I see it, if someone is responsible enough and thinks they're mature enough to have sex they should be mature enough to take care of the baby if something goes wrong with birth control. The parents are just being selfish by choosing to live their own fun, care free lives over the life with a new child and responsibility. Basically they're saying that the time and effort that they would need to raise a child is not worth it and instead, killing it would just be easier. How can someone not see the wrong in that? A baby shouldn't have to die when they did nothing wrong. Abortion is unfair to the child so much that it can be sickening. Why should a baby who hasn't even gotten to
             experience the world yet have to pay for the mistakes of it's parents?
             Now that I've strongly stated my opinion of abortion and why it is extremely wrong and uncaring, I will now tell you what I think can be done to prevent it from happening ever again. There are many young mothers who feel that they would not make suitable parents and that the child would be better off dead than being cared for by someone still in high school. This I can understand but why not have the baby and give it up for adoption
             rather than kill it? The same can be true in most situations. Any way is better than death. The truth is that most couples that wish to adopt a child have to wait a long time before they are actually given one. This is especially true when it comes to babies. So, instead of having an abortion, if a woman was to give her child up for adoption there would be three people
             benefiting from it. Herself as she now solved whatever problem she had in caring for the child, the child itself can live a wonderful life instead of having to die at such a young age and the new parents who did not have to wait as long as they expected. Everyone wins.
