need to build a relationship with God and then the understanding comes as we grow. By confessing our guilt before God we start taking steps toward that reconciliation therefore building a relationship with Him.
             The article also discusses the difference between general revelations and special revelations. General revelations are what we can clearly understand by reading the word of God. Special revelations are what God reveals to us, like a deeper meaning to the word, something that doesn't exactly jump out at us so to speak. But what we grow to understand as we study the word. I don't necessarily agree with the authors interpretations of who the recipients are. I tend to believe that the more we study God's word the deeper the revelation He shows us. The Bible states that we come to the father as children, and the longer we walk with God the more we grow and learn to understand.
             One of the hardest questions I have ever had to attempt to answer is why I think my religion and beliefs are correct and everyone else's is incorrect. My answers follow the same basic outlines in this article. The first thing I try to explain is that lots of other religions contain truths of theological ideas. For example that Jesus is the Messiah, that we are born into sin, and that the only way to God is through Jesus. We are all born into sin and my religion is the only one that offers a way of fixing the problem. Satan tries to corrupt our thinking by leading us to believe that salvation is something we can obtain on our own and that we don't need Jesus to save us from our sins. That is how we get the idea God won't let us go to hell if we are good people.
