The Save the Children's Foundation began in 1932 and was created by a women whose name was Eglantyne Jebb. Eglantyne became interested in this by first helping children and families in Europe who suffered from poverty after WWII. 2. The Child must be the first to receive relief in times of distress.
3. The child must receive training, which will enable him or her, at the right time, to feel livelihood, and the Child must be protected against every form of exploitation.
4. The child must be brought up in the consciousness that his or her talents should be to the service of others.
