Delis are good because I can pick everything that goes in it. The only downfall to eating out is the cost. It gets very expensive to eat healthy. Grilled chicken is way more expensive then a greasy hamburger. If I was not on a budget, then going out for meals would not be a problem. Sometimes I guess you have to make due with what you have, and I will have to learn to like the gross and unhealthy food from the dining halls.
Besides eating well, I knew I would have to workout whenever I had a chance. It was not hard at the beginning, but now as the months pass by, it is getting more and more difficult to find the time. This goes with my next value, time management. I was always very busy in high school, but this is very different. With all the freedom and my spread out schedule, I find it hard to focus and get things done. Nothing is consistent. I wake up when I want to, I go to bed when I want to, I watch what I want to, and I do things when I want to. I procrastinate now more then I ever did in high school. Due to never getting anything done, I forced myself to make a daily schedule. I put deadlines on my papers, I study at least a few hours everyday, and I make time for fun activities like working out and going shopping. School is going a lot better, my grades are improving, and I am less stressed all the time.
Most people would consider values as things such as; religious beliefs, cultural background, and morals. I have all those same values, but I wanted to talk on a few of my other values that I am being faced with at the moment. Those other values have always been challenged and changed, but this is first for these two. What I eat has always been picked out and prepared for me.
