Humans need to face hard situations to realize that the best things in life do not have to do with money, but these simple things are important to human life. We can find a good example of this situation in the film called Sweet November, which came out for the second time in February 2001, as a remake of a 1968 film. This second edition was written by Kurt Voelker and Paul Yorick, and directed by Pat O'Connor, who has directed other recognized movies. The principal characters of the movie are Keanu Revees as Nelson Moss, and Charlize Theron as Sara Deever. Through this movie, I became conscious that money cannot fulfill our lives and that there are things with more value than money that can make us happier.
             This movie starts when Sara and Nelson meet each other while they are taking a test to renew their driver's licenses. He tries to cheat off her, but she gets caught instead. After Sara meets Nelson, she notices that he is a self-centered and humorless man, whose life revolves around his work and that he is living only superficially. Sara thinks it would be a good idea to help him to improve his life, so she proposes that he moves into her apartment to undergo a spiritual rehabilitation. Nelson at first rejects that proposition, but after all Sara's insistences, he agrees to live with her and accept that proposition. While living with her, Nelson falls in love with Sara, but still does not know that she has an incurable disease (which is never named in the movie). When Nelson finds out about her disease, he gives her all his support and tries to be with her all the time. Sara refuses to be with him and asks him to leave her, telling him that he has to continue without her, and that his life is already better because he has learned the real value of life. From that day, he goes back to his life, but this time knowing the real meaning of living.
