Gay Marriage

             As long as the institution of marriage has been around there is also the belief that it is the union of one man and one woman. Nowadays, homosexuals are challenging that institution.
             The main arguments against gay marriages are that marriage is traditionally a heterosexual institution and that same-sex marriage threatens the institution of marriage. There is a big contradiction here – threatening marriage by allowing people to marry !
             According to the Bible these marriages are immoral and sinful. What about the freedom of religion? Does it exist if one does not have the right to freedom from religion as well
             People think gay sex is unnatural. The fact is that homosexual behaviour has been described in at least 450 of 1500 animal species.
             People opposed to gay marriages say that human race is in danger of dying out, but one must bear in mind that one of the world's most serious problems is overpopulation.
             The most popular reason against it is the possibility of adopting children. If children are priority why are criminals, murderers and even child molesters allowed to freely marry and procreate without critics?
             Lots of scientific studies have shown that results of the children raised in the home of homosexual couples are as good as those in straight couples. Psychologists tell us that what makes the difference is the love of the parents, not their gender.
             In day to day living, homosexual lifestyle is not much different from the heterosexual lifestyle, so why shouldn't it be legal?
