There are many benefits to fire sprinklers. They help save lives and more. If there weren't such an invention, then many buildings would be burnt down and many more lives lost. If fire sprinklers were installed in every building, then people would have a better chance at saving their lives, homes, and belongings. The places that need fire sprinklers installed are skyscrapers, nursing homes, day cares/schools, and homes. When a fire sprinkler detects smoke, it sprays water to put out fires, which prevents fires from spreading through a home or building reducing the damages and costs to repair. If water started to spray, it would warn people to get out and they would also slow fire spread. Two other things fire sprinklers would do, would be that they save your belongings and give people a sense of security.
             One place that needs fire sprinklers would be a skyscraper. Imagine if you were in a skyscraper fifty stories in the air, and a fire broke out, that wouldn't be a good thing. The fire would most likely shut off the power, and that would leave you with no where to get out. You couldn't get out by the elevator, because the power would be off, and you couldn't get out by the stairs if there were a fire in the hallway, so there is no other logical way to get out. So, fire sprinklers would give people a sense of security, by simply knowing they are there.
             Another place that needs fire sprinklers would be nursing homes. In a nursing home, many older people can't walk, and many have Alzheimer's disease, so many of them wouldn't know what was going on. Just imagine all of the people who work there that would have to run around the building like crazy rushing all of the people out of the building.
