What does it mean to be a Christian? A Christian is a person who has accepted Jesus Christ as their savoir and has a passion to follow God. Christianity isn't about a religion with rules. It is about having a personal relationship with God himself. People generally think Christianity or church as boring, but if I have a fire burning in our heart to spread the word that Jesus saves you can't go on without it.
             Now you are probably asking, "who is Jesus and why should I follow him"? Jesus is a name known by billions throughout the world. To each, this name means something different: savior, friend, philosopher, prophet, teacher, fraud, fake, and liar. Some even believe that He is just an imaginary character from the minds of those who wrote about Him. Jesus was the Son of God who lived at Nazareth and announced the coming of the kingdom of God. He was put of the earth in the time of the Roman Empire to sacrifice his life for us from the consequences of our sins. The world tells us to rebel form what is right and go on our own path away from God. Jesus came to rescue us from our downward path to hell. His life, death, and resurrection broke the power of sin and offered eternal life.
             Salvation is as easy as ABC. First, we must accept we can't go on in life without god by our side, and ask for forgiveness. Second, we must believe that he died on the cross for our sins. Third, we must commit our lives to him in faith. To many, salvation comes very easily, and to others it is struggle in which the devil is a part of. In the end, if we don't ask Jesus to forgive us we will burn in Hell. Accepting Jesus isn't easy, but to have eternal life is a gift from God.
