Colored Girls and lifes problems

             The play was introduced by a woman in brown, who was very informative in letting everyone know what the name of the play was. The play was titled "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf", and it was presented in the El Camino Auditorium on November 5, 2002. The play was very interesting, because it touched on a lot of issues young black women experience in their lives, for the actors were able to artistically express issues related to their culture. The production of this good however, elements such as costume and set design could have been changed from time to time, for the situations the women were in. The hook of the play was for women to stop giving in to sorrow; nevertheless, stand up and feel proud to those who try to hurt or discourage them. The young black women unite in their experiences, for they all communicate and express themselves with each other to help the audience understand their pain. These young black women been though many trials and tribulations, they feel that in order to contain self-destruct they need to express their pain with other black women they can relate to.
             The prologue to the play was the explanation experience, for the actors explained what their problems were, and what they needed in order to solve them before something terrible happens to them. The young actors may have touched on issues referring to the author or they may have touched explained some of their own past experience depending either or was very informative. The Inciting Incident arose when the women stared conversing about the negative concepts that lead them to their defeat and shame. The Rising Actions were when the women started to discuss their problems, but at the same time they all made comments about how they are going to defeat their enemy whether its emotionally are physically.
