Underage Drinking

             The media and society depicts the views of teenagers with so many teenagers watching television their minds are easily influenced. Alcohol is ont hting that is shown widely on television and in magazines. When teenagers see alcohol they see people having a good time, forgetting their pain, engaging in sexual activities, or having control. Unitl these images are shown with a realistic view of the aftermath, teenagers wil continue to become underage drinkers.
             Whenever a college movie is shown there is sure to be a frat party being held at night. The first thing that is shown are halff drunk party goers lurking down barrels of kegs. The crowd seems popular on campus and everybody seems free spirited. To a young mind this could seem like the life they may want to embark. Hardly ever are the party goers ever shown having hang overs or eventuallysuffering from kidney illnesses.
             On other programs there are a group of individuals or individual going through emotional pain. The only escape they manage to see is a Budlight Beer. They drink until they can drink no more. All of their worries have been forgotten, but only momentarily. Sometimes the young viewer may never see the individual wake up and realize they are living in the same hell hole. To young impressionable viewers drinking could seem like an easy way out.
             With hip hop on the rise the need to see the latest music video is in high demand. Along with these rap videos are alcohol and half dressed females. The rapper may grope, fondle, or touch whomever he pleases without a lawsuit being filed. A young male may look at this rapper and see empowwerment. He see a rapper with a bottle of expensive alcohol in one hand and a "dime piece" in the other hand. Little does this young male know that with this alcohol and tainted female, ne may never be happy.
             Lastly, in the media sexual activity and alcohol go hand in hand like bread and water. When
