On a dark night, with mayhem on the verge and the citizens in despair out of nowhere you see two shadowy figures they come into the light and its no other than Batman. Alongside him you see what you expect to be Robin but no its Beowulf? Now I know what you're thinking, "Beowulf and Batman aren't even in the same time period so how could they be together or similar". In this essay I'm going to show you some similarities between the two heroes, also I will be showing you some of their differences (besides the obvious). Last time I checked Batman doesn't have to fight giants or sea monsters, just like Beowulf never had to fight society's villains such as: The Joker, The Riddler, 2-Face, Catwoman, or The Penguin. They might both be heroes but as you can see they both have differences between each other.
No matter what anybody says, heroes have at least a couple of things that make them similar. Batman and Beowulf both serve the public in some way. Batman takes care of Gotham City with the help of a police force while Beowulf was called to kill Grendel by Hrothgar to help his kingdom because Gr...
