#1. Going to university has always been a dream of mine - no question about that. I believe that having a good education makes one a successful person in life, that is successful with your career, your relationships and your own well being. In attending university, one can acquire a vast amount of knowledge and skills, which could in turn, be transferable to other areas. I personally have a passion to learn and gain knowledge for the sake of fulfilling my curiosity. For this, I can rely on universities to provide me with.
             In terms of my educational goals, attending university is very critical. This is due to my strong interest in the medical field. Thus, the University of Toronto, because it is strong in this area, is a desirable choice for myself. More specifically, I would like to get accepted in the Life Sciences program, where I could study for four years and obtain a Bachelor of Science degree. Building upon that, striving to get into Medical School and passing the MCATS are my other significant goals. By this point, majoring in Biology and/or Chemistry will lead to the succession of my goals.
             All this hard work at post-secondary is to ultimately pursue my true ambition - a dream of becoming an Obstetrician. Nonetheless we all know we want a career to do for a living, in my case a professional career. Universities are what makes this possible; thus, attending university will allow me to achieve this. Universities are essentially a real taste of the fast-paced world and is truly something I would love to experience and learn from.
             #2. I have applied to the Faculty of Science because, as mentioned previously, I have a strong interest in the Life Sciences field, filled with curiosity and questions. Not only that, this faculty will establish a direct career path that I have already devised.
