Beowulf

             The story of Beowulf starts out very gruesome and bloody. Before we hear about
             all of the disaster these mengo through, we read about a moster who terrorizes the Danes
             Grendel was conceived by a pair of those monsters born of Cain. The creatures
             were banished by God forever for the crime of Abel's death. They were shut away from
             men into many forms of evil such as monsters, giants, fiends, and goblins and defeated
             many times. Grendel lives in darkness on a mountain lake and doesnt like being
             disturbed. Grendel haunted the moors and the men who rejoiced in the Herot or Mead
             hall. The Herot was a central gathering where the warriors could feast, listen to stories
             told by the great bards, and sleep quietly and very safely. After a big night of drinking,
             partying, and singing sonds of the ancient beginnings in the Herot, Grendel entered very
             slowly and silently and took up thirty men and smashed them all, and then left and went
             When the men woke up, they were all very sad an began to cry and it was an
             unjoious day. Hrothgar cried for the fate of his later friends murdered by the creature
             Grendel who showed absolutely no remorse and for the fear that this might be the
             beginning of the end for his people. Grendel went on a prowl again that night into the
             Herot at the same time. The only ones who were to survive are the ones who managed to
             escape the Herot and run for cover while the others werent so fortunate.
             Herot stayed deserted for years and for twelve straight winters, there was much
             grief. The creature Grendel would kill as often as he could coming only by himself
             hungry and bloodthirsty. He no lived in the Herot but would never dare touch Hrothgar's
             throne which was protected by God. Grendel saught out no peace, no ammount of money,
