The letter in which you have written to newsweek magazine has got me thinking about how many kids in my school actually smoke. Maybe one day they will conduct research to see how many kids actually do smoke! From knowing the people around me I would think that the numbers are pretty high! Though most people actually assume way to much just by the way they look, that could throw some people off my quite a bit!
My opinion is stuck on against just by the fact of how many childeren lose their parents and are ususally thrown into either, group homes with parents that are really mean and don't pay much attention to them and when they do it's usually to be punished or, with their grandparents that don't pay much attention to them because they can barely even remember what they were doing in the middle of doing something.
Most of my friends and family smoke and none of them really have any problems ...... yet. Lately i've been keeping a close watch on all of my friends and family and try to notice changes in them as they smoke more and more of themselves away. I mean don't get me wrong I love my family, but I want to know what to look forward to if I do start smoking! I think you should do the same thing from time to time.
What i've learned from watching my brother all these years is how to kick the habbit for at least a while to work up that ability to quit. He always ate sunflower seeds to try and break the habbit, and for the most part it worked rather well. I would encourage the fact of you trying different things to try and kick the habbit such as sunflower seeds, working in the garden, or simply eating lots and lots of pudding!
I speak to you as a friend trying to help another fight the demon that is the tobacco industry and all it's biproducts! I would greatly appreciate it if you would take into consideration some of the suggestions i've made on trying to break the habbit. And I would like you to take
