Neanderthals are the neighboring link to human species about a hundred thousand years ago. They have a variety of comparable qualities to humans and fossils authenticate we have evolved from Neanderthals. Neanderthals are human and our closest antecedent.
             Out of all the creatures on this planet aside from humans; Neanderthals are the only species who have the aptitude of bipedalism. They have the ability to walk on two feet for extended distances. Contrasting monkeys who have this capability for an inadequate distance, Neanderthals can walk just as humans do. The main characteristic of humans is bipedalism, which is how we distinguish the difference from a human and an animal.              The skeleton of a Neanderthal is so closely correlated to our structure that differences are very diminutive. The main differences in skeletal structures are Neanderthals had larger heads with a few different facial features. Also they had a shorter tibula. Another imperative aspect which is used to define humans is having a vertical pelvis. Out of all the species excluding humans no animal has a vertical pelvis, however the Neanderthal had one. This is an attribute only found in humans, which makes it evident Neanderthals are in fact early humans.
             Another rationale why people feel Neanderthals aren't related to humans is because they are extinct. This is because of the direct actions of the physical world inducing biological adaptations. Neanderthals evolved into what we know as humans. Darwin's evolution theory comes into play, survival of the fittest. Neanderthals were no longer the dominant group so they could not compete and thus they didn't survive.
