Fahrenheit 9/11 by Michel Moore was very interesting as far as the facts that were brought up. Many things that were said about bush election that I did not know before, for example the fact that not one of the senators from the house signed a petition to recount the ballots from Florida. But even the facts to bring suspension on the ballot count of Florida were very interesting, like his brother being the governor of Florida or the fact that the person in head of counting the ballots was part of bush's campaign. There were many things throughout the movie that would make a person frown on the bush administration, even people who are for bush would second guess there vote.
One thing that would enrage anyone about bush is the way he acted as the second plane hit the world trade center. I was very surprised at the way he sat there in the class, with a clueless expression on his face, just as the children were to him trying to figure out what he was reading to them. You would think that he would excuse him self from the class to get more info on the situation, or get to a safe location if the nation is under attack. Throughout the movie many points were made out about bush's family and there business ties with the people of the Middle East manly Iraq. For many years Bush and his father had several ties and connections with people of the Bin Laden family and other interests groups with there known suspicious background. And how ironic it is that many of there business would happen to profit from the occupation of Iraq. If all these facts were true I could see the extra incentives for Bush going to war with Iraq. However, Michael Moore has not been completely truthful with is viewers either. I felt at times Mr. Moore was embellishing the truth or perhaps not disclosing the whole truth during parts of his documentary. After all, he does have a political agenda of his own to carry out as well as a pay check to be made. There w...
