A Day Has A Child

             From the year 1900 to the year 2000, a lot of things in the household have changed. One thing is that children have less and less responsibility has the years come than a child had a hundred years ago.
             When my grandma was a child, she lived on a farm. Every morning she and her siblings had to get up and gather the eggs, feed the animals and milk the cow. After that was done than go in and help their mom with breakfast. After everything was done and taken care of, than they all went to school. After school, there was housework that needed to be done. Then they went out and fed the animals. Before dinner the boys would go out and chop the wood and bring it in. There needed to be enough to last the rest of the night and all the next day. While they were doing that the girls would be in the kitchen helping their mom finish cooking dinner and setting the table. After dinner it was time for studying and having time to themselves. Then they would get ready for bed and then go to bed. In the morning the day would start all over again.
             Compare too now of days the children have it a lot easier way of doing things than their ancestors did. When they wake up, they get ready for school. Usually their mom has their breakfast ready for them or they just get a bowl of cold cereal. After breakfast they go off to school. When they came home from school they usually went to a friend's house to play or the friend would come to their house to play. Dinner would be served and after dinner then they would do their homework or if they had none than they would watch t.v. until it is time to get ready for bed. Time came around to get ready for bed and to go to bed. Then they will wake up the next day and everything would start over again.
             With all the inventions to make life for the average person better, the time-consuming work is eliminated. Now things take very little time to get them done. Now the average person has time...
