Stress

There are many different factors in my life that may cause me to experience stress at any given time. School here at ABAC is something that gives me stress on a pretty regular basis. The amount of stress that is placed on me from ABAC depends on what time of the semester it is and whether I have procrastinated or not. When I know I have a major test or paper due, my stress and anxiety levels increase. I am now in the process of finding a place to live and trying to find a job at the same time. I know that I want to live in town but cannot afford an apartment unless I get a job. I enjoy living with my parents, yet I want to full college experience and I think that the only way to do that is to live on my own for an extended period of time.
One of the major things in my life that causes stress is my relationships with girls. I love my girlfriend and love to be around her, but I fell many times that I don't have enough time in a day or week to balance out school and my girlfriend and many times I have to put my school work before her. For many people peer pressure may be a big issue, but for me I am very confident in who I am and my friends know that if I make my mind up, it's made up and there is no changing it to get me to do something they might want me to do. I have learned that I don't need to stress over thing that I can't change or that I have no control over because there is nothing I can do and not reason to worry about it and cause any more unneeded stress in my life.
