Many things change throughout every body's life. One thing that changes throughout everyone's life is his or her identity. It is hard for most young people to keep their identity when transiting from high school to college. Many things in this period of their life will influence what they believe and how they act. There are many things changing that will alter their identity, such as their home, maturity level, and their friends.
             Most young people move away from home when they start college. Moving away can be hard for most young people because this will be the first time they are own their on. Having a steady job is another responsibility and helps them realize what life is about. Many parents pay for a lot or everything during high school. When the student goes to college the parents are usually paying for school, book, and different things. Maybe the parents are unable to pay for any thing else for the student and the student may have to pay for other things like clothes, food, and many others things. Once they start to realize these things they start to grow up even more. Since the parents are not around they can do what they want. They can stay out all night, bring anyone home, and do what they want. They have so much freedom that they forget to take care of their responsibilities.
             When many young people start college there is one change they don't realize until later in life. They start to grow up in high school but when they go to college they have a whole lot more responsibilities. Going to class in college is totally up to the student. If they don't go to class, neither the school nor the teachers are going to call the parents. Some teachers don't even take attendance. The student also needs to take care of their homework. If it is not done they're not going to do well in the class.
