uld not help but feel that they were meant to poke fun at African Americans. The characters in these movies held the same level of buffoonery and stupidity that the stars of racist "black face" films of the early 1900's possessed. The movies show the Black family in such a negative light that it seems these films could do some real damage to not only how White America perceives how the Black family truly functions, but to Black families who view the movies as well.
             My main concern is with the content of "How High". In this movie, meant to be a comedy, Method Man and Redman play the part of two lower class drug dealers from single parent homes who cheat their way into Harvard University.
