the ideals of Darwinism are thought of as blasphemy due to the fact that no one would dare challenge the word of the church and the existence of a supreme being.
             Religion has always been a topic of controversy. The theory of Creationism is one that stems well from the beginning of intelligent thought. The Earth was created in six days and on the seventh God said "let there be light." Adam was created by the hand of God in his own image and then Eve was created from the rib of Adam. The theory of Intelligent Design, however, is somewhat of an offspring of creationism and evolution. The ideals of the theory contends that the earth is ten thousand years old instead of the evolutionists' claim of 4.6 billion years. They also look closely at the human development and the way in which the human body is designed and constructed. Due to the complexity of the structure, the theory states that a supreme being had a definitive plan how the body would assemble and function.
             Although there are strong arguments for each side, I believe that more questions are answered by the theory of evolution. Both parties claim to have an resolution for all of the questions asked but those who believe in the theory of Intelligent Design have the obvious solution that it was Gods will and that's all the answer that is needed. However, I also believe that neither of the theories are without falsities. Simply putting all the evidence from one theory into a single book in the case of creationism and the sometimes extremely radical concepts of evolution tend to taint the validity of the arguments.
             The primary difference between scientific creationism and evolution is simple.
