             From nagging parents to annoying guidance counsellors, we are constantly being bombarded with the notion that we 'have to' graduate from high school and enter a university. The most common misconception that people have engraved in their minds is that they must go to university in order to survive in the world today. On the contrary, there are a lot of normal people out in today's society who did not obtain a university degree, yet who are thriving in their economic war. These are the people who prove that the theory is erroneous and further underlines that a university degree is neither necessary to survive in society, nor to earn a higher income.
             In the early ages, people with lower economic status did not have the luxury or ability to obtain as much education compared to the affluent community. Thus, the lesser-educated were left to make money in various ways. For example, a poor person could perhaps earn money by labour, then through time and effort, they could save enough money to open their own shop. This is an effective method that is also applicable to the modern world; however, some could argue this method is far too time-consuming. Ironically most people think that less time is spent in university compared to working. Depending on which course you decide you want to enter, for example doctors, most of the time the time span in order to receive a degree is usually 3years or maybe longer. If a normal person goes into society and starts working, he or she can save up enough money in that amount of time to open a shop of their own or invest their money wisely such as buy numerous of houses and leasing them to perhaps VISA students or over sea people.
             Another way of surviving in society is to take up jobs with traits or skills. These could be things such as smith work, carpentering, or working with paints. If a person has flourished in his skill, perhaps his work will be worth more. Examples of these could be fa
