The book Catherine, Called Birdy was a good book for the most part. Throughout the book there were many strong points and weak points. One strong point was that Catherine, the main character, spoke her mind and it's usually a good thing for girls her age who are reading this to know its okay to do so in most cases. Another weak point was that the author used too big of words for kids to understand. Another weak point was that it had a few bad words in it. I also know that some of their words are bad for us to use now. She could have put it in there but phrased it differently. This was surprising but didn't really bring my expectations of the book down.
The final point I made was a good one. It was that I could relate to the characters. I like to put myself into the book so relating to the characters is always good. Sometimes to get people to li
