Effects of the September 11th tragedy to our society
             All of our lives have been affected by the terrorist attacks that were unleashed around America. The attacks have killed thousands of people and they will affect the rest of our lives. Every aspect in our society has been changed in one way or another. It has affected the way we each look at life. When major disasters occur in life we all unite and help each other out with the problems at hand.
             Before the terrorist attacks on September eleventh we took things in life for granted. Our government had many problems and they were not fixing the many problems that we have. Such as security at airports, it is unbelievable what was allowed on aircrafts. Knives and other devises were not thought of as a threat to our safety. Disasters have to occur for our government to recognize and fix all the problems that our government has. This has made all of us focus on all of the problems we have that must be fixed.
             There have been major changes to the way we now live in the days after September eleventh. We all look at life in a much different way than we ever did. The amount of lives that were lost in the World Trade Center shocked the world. As a result of this all subjects were set aside so we as Americans could unite and help each other get through the difficult times. Fundraisers were formed and donations were made to help those in need. Things that we used in our everyday life have forever changed. Such as air travel and many other forms of transportation.
             Our future depends on how we all handle and overcome the changes to our lives. Many freedoms we once had are gone. For example, our rights have changed. Freedom of speech is a thing of the past. Taxes will be raised to cover the cost of the war with Afghanistan. The war will effect the immigration to our great nation. Our life may never be the same as it was.
