             Guyon and the Palmer continue on their way when they encounter a woman crying over her dead husband. Acrasia has poisoned the man. Acrasia is the mistress of the Bower of Bliss. She is very deviant in her ability to lure men and lead them to their destruction. The woman that is grieving over her dead husband stabs herself and leaves her baby to be an orphan. The baby has been left with bloody hands and Guyon makes and oath to seek revenge against Acrasia. This event starts the quest to find Acrasia and the Bower of Bliss to destroy her temptress ways.
