             It is almost inevitable that one would find an article relating to the incident that took place in the U.S. no more than three weeks ago, when searching through any news source. In this case, an online web browser that deals with issues not only domestic but foreign as well. Almost every article in the World section of the CNN homepage dealt with the attacks upon the United States. The articles, like the article chosen here, deal with the issues raised by these horrific acts of terrorism and the effects it will have upon each individual nation.
             In the article, "UK unveils anti-terror curbs", many ideas, stemming from the nations of Britain, France, and Italy, are suggested from the respected heads of the nations. British Home Secretary David Blunkett revealed how his nation intended on dealing with the newly found enemy of society. Many of the ideas are no different than what the U.S. and other nations have basically proposed, for example granting easier access to known and suspected terrorists. As well as reformatting the rules dealing with asylum seekers, who are either entering the country or those who have claimed temporary residency in Britain. France's claims were similar in idea to that of David Blunkett, just worded differently. Prime Minister Lionel Jospin discussed "extending" police powers when dealing with search and seizure, as well as surveillance and those who plan on communicating via Internet to discuss illegal acts.
             Italy's stance was somewhat different than that of Britain or France in the respect that cross-border investigations should be made stricter, rather than easier. A bill was passed making it more difficult for Italian prosecutors as well as foreign prosecutors to exchange information regarding evidence.
