Dreaming of love or being in love suggests intense feelings carried from a waking relationship. It implies emotion and satisfaction with what we have, and how we feel about each other. In addition seeing couples expressing love to each other would indicate much success ahead for our society. On the other hand, some people may not have enough love in their daily life; and some may not even know what it is. Furthermore, William Faulkner will help us to discover another kind of love through his short story, "A Rose for Emily". He writes a story about a woman who is traumatized by the way her father has raised her also the effects of her father's strict and overprotective mental.              William Faulkner shows us a negative aspect of love through his short story "A Rose for Emily". This story has two dominant aspects: obsession and gossip. Of course Miss Emily was abided by her father's strict rational. First of all, the story tells us that Miss Emily did not have a peaceful adolescence. Her father was very abusive and neglectful towards her feelings. He never let her experience the joy of doing things on her own and the feeling of love and friendship. Whenever she thought she had these feelings towards someone, her father disapproved the choice. "None of the young men were quite good enough for Miss Emily and such.
