I am not saying I would run out and assassinate the heads of state, but I would fight in some other form. Socrates could easily right off his escape in the way I just described, holding to the Socratic ethic and fighting the state for what he believed was just, all without violating his moral policy. I think that Socrates spent his whole life thinking too much and he forgot to give this situation any thought at all. Standing up and dying with honor for what someone believes in and sitting down and dying are two different things. Socrates should have set back and thought about these things more thoroughly.
