The Voice of God's Command

Essay: Tahirih's "The Voice of God's Command"
God is the beginning and the end of everything. In Tahirih's poem, "The Voice of God's Command", she is writing about how God is the creation and destruction of all things. She illustrates this in the form of a poem, by using proper words (capitalisation), imagery, guilt, and symbolic letters. She explains his significance very simply for us to understand.
Tahirih writes this piece as a free-verse poem, where it follows no regular meter and has no rhyme. It consists of four quatrains (four lines per stanza), which is the most common stanza form in English poetry. By using this form, it broadens her choice in words to create a better understanding of God's importance.
Also, proper words/capitalisation is used as a reference. In the first line of the first stanza,
             "Behold, my resistless Faith"
she capitalises 'faith' to indicate how important it is to her. It is referred to the Baha'I Faith wherein she is famous for her love and dedication to it. When adding the second line,
             "has once more become manifest;"
she is indicating that there is a new manifestation God has sent: the end of the old cycle and the beginning of the new.
In the second stanza, she uses imagery to illustrate this wonderful new beginning. She writes:
"Cast off the garments of old laws,
Here she is telling us to forget about all the old laws of the last religious cycle. Instead we should be investigating and be part of a new beginning; a new message sent from God for this new day and age.
Later, she uses guilt. It sounds kind of harsh, but it is necessary. When she writes:
             rabid with passion and corruption,
will you remain so remote from your true purpose
