[1] The feet cover many different roles in the Bible. However, I would like to show you how they can be 'beautiful' by carrying the word of God.
             [2] In this way, they work as part of the body of Christ. The feet are a representative member of that body.
             To look at a text where Paul mentions the 'foot' [=feet] as a member of the body of Christ, let's go to:
             1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
             1 Corinthians 12:14 For the body is not one member, but many.
             1 Corinthians 12:15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
             What does a foot (or the feet) do as a member of the body of Christ?
             A natural perspective can help us understand the spiritual:
             • The feet carry, or move the body.
             • Movement can be in various directions (e.g., forwards, backwards, or sideways)
             • Movement can be fast, or slow.
             • The feet are the means by which we stand and do not move.
             • Feet can be disabled, or lame
              Jesus took a towel and washed his disciples' feet.
              Jesus' word – the word of God - had already washed the whole disciple in baptism. But the cleansing process has to continue. Washing the feet symbolises this. The body part – the feet – stands for the whole body they support.
              The way to the kingdom is accomplished by being kept clean, as represented by having clean feet.
              In the NT, believers are told to do as Jesus did.
              This showed a concern for the feet labouring in journeys to preach the Gospel.
              The feet being cleansed keep the member (the disciple) fit for preaching.
