I have finally done it. Everything is in place for me to become the King of England. All the murders have been committed. I have all the power needed to be King. All I need now is the crown. The ceremony for my crowning will take place tomorrow, and nothing can stop that. There was a problem with getting the crowd to support me. I can kill all of those who stand in my way of becoming the next King of England, but people cannot be forced to like me just because of my title. I had to gain the citizens' trust if I want to stay King. I had to make them believe that I was the only won who was fully able and capable of ruling England.
The crowd was hard to break, but eventually they were convinced. Buckingham started by arousing bad feelings for good old King Edward. He even claimed that he wasn't the legitimate heir to the crown, and therefore his son cannot be King. But that backfired as everyone seemed to adore my good old dearest brother. From what Buckingham told me, it seemed as if the scene that he had created was very pathetic. Not even our own men who were placed amongst the crowd could get others to cheer in favor of me.
I was furious, but finally decided that if I wanted to be King for a reasonable amount of time that the only solution would be to try again. This time, the plan would not fail. I needed to make myself seem pleasurable to the people of England. I needed to make them see that I was all good, and that no evil resides in me. I had to show them that no matter what anyone has said about me, that I am all that they want in a King.
It took some time, but it was decided that the townspeople would see me with not one, but two priests. The three of us would be deeply immersed in our readings.
