             In the world there are many acts of violence most of which is committed by teenagers. Is this the entertainments i
             ndustries fault? I feel it is. If you watch television shows such as Jackass, Tom Green, Simpson's with the cartoon Itchy and Scratchy, they all have some sort of violence in them teaching teenagers to do this to other people or themselves. Also many musical artists such as Eminem, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot all of these promote violence.
             The major problem is that the entertainment industry is introducing a lot of violent television shows musical groups and movies. Hence the kids watch it and act out what they see. Children and teenagers on average watch Television for twenty hours a week. Children before the age of four years old can not tell the difference of real and fantasy. So when they watch cartoons they think they can fly and do things that we cannot really do. On a new report on ABC channel 7 they had shown that teenage males who watched more then six hours of television a day grew up to be felons, and if they watched three hours they grew up to be non felons.
             Another question could be is stricter discipline need for teens? Yes I feel that stricter discipline is need for teenagers. Kids feel they are invincible, after kids saw the movie Fast and Furious I bet they went out and raced their cars like they did in that movie. I know I did. And weather its their parents or Police officers who tell them not to do it they still need to be told or they will do it. But as it says in the Bible "spare the rod and spoil the child". 1994 was the first year that it was the highest rate of parents not hitting their children. Maybe we should go back to older time and teach the kids a lesson with a smack on the butt. In South Africa they conducted a study they had no television till 1975, once they got it murder rate went up 7% and when the U.S. got T.V the Murder rate went up 92%. But also a...
