"Suddenly the Lord rained burning sulfur on the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and destroyed them and the whole valley, along with all the people there and everything that grew on the land" (Gen. 19:23:25). What possibly infuriated the Almighty God that enabled Him to destroy two cities full of His creations that He loves so much? According to Gen. 19:4-5, the people of Sodom and Gomorrah engaged in homosexual activities, the very same activities we acknowledge and allow in the United States today. Any among the Christian faith should be aware of the displeasure and disappointment God has for homosexuality and should stand in contempt against the protection of such a sin by the United States.
In the Christian atmosphere, homosexuality blinds one's image from God's eyes. One might ask how anyone could know what God sees and feels. The answer is simple. The Bible is the "gateway" between God and His creations. The Bible informs all that read it about the absolute truth to all questions. Homosexuality is an issue that God frequently forbids in the Bible. Some say that the Old Testament forbids gay behavior, but the New Testament allows it. This could be considered an insult to God Himself. God is righteous in every way. He does not make mistakes. During the time of the Old Testament, God said, "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable" (Leviticus 18:22). Detestable refers to anything that is abominable in the Lord's eyes. "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable.
They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads" (Leviticus 20:13). His decision on this matter could be no less than the perfect one.
